Ben Minks - President/Owner

Ben has had the desire to build houses since high school. Hardworking and goal oriented, he started in construction by learning the drywall trade from his uncles. Ben started his own drywall business while still in college. Shortly after, Ben was building his first home for himself and then found himself building homes for friends and co-workers. His work and experienced team led to establishing Minks Custom Homes as a residential building contractor in 1998. Since then, Minks has continued to establish itself as a builder. Ben and his wife, Rachel have two sons, Reese and Wesley.

Scott Gustafson - Vice President of Sales

Scott has been selling real estate for many years. He oversees the scheduling & staffing of our model homes. Scott truly listens to our customers and helps them to achieve their goals in building their home. He assists them in finding the right location, at the right cost, Scott works with you to insure that building your home with Minks is a great building experience from the design right up to closing (and often beyond!)

Dave Minks - Vice President of Customer Relations

As the name shows, Dave is part of the family. Dave has numerous years of sales experience and is now working to coordinate the sales of our homes along with the production of our homes. Dave works closely with our sales representatives, our vice president of sales, you the home buyer, and the vice president of construction to ensure a smooth and enjoyable building process. Dave is married to Joanne and they have four children as well as four grandchildren. Dave enjoys reading and working in his vegetable garden.

Jeff Ledin - Marketing Manager

Jeff is our director of marketing. You will also see Jeff at our models on the weekends interacting with customers. Jeff is married to Cindi and they have two sons, Tanner and Grant. Jeff spends his free time working on his 1910 farmhouse in Blaine and building a log hunting shack in Floodwood.

Lori Peterson - Warranty Manager & Contract Closing Coordinator

Lori has many years of experience in the building industry. She manages all homeowner warranty calls, coordinating lot closings, as well as assisting Dave Minks in sales . Lori and her husband, Phil, have 2 teenagers. She enjoys reading, playing golf, and spending time with her family.

Darin Coons - Vice President of Construction

Darin brings his previous experience as a Job Superintendent and framer to help monitor field quality and operations and implement new process ideas. Darin provides support to the other Job Superintendents and works closely with the Vice President of Operations as well as the Warranty Manager, to continually improve the quality and efficiency of all field and safety operations. He and his wife, April are busy keeping up with their 4 active children, as well as being involved in their church.

Barry Onufrock - Vice President of Finance

Barry brings years of financial management as a CPA, Controller and CFO in both construction and manufacturing to the Minks family. Barry is involved with technology by implementing a new builder software system. Barry will celebrate his marriage of 30 years this year; he and his wife have four children and two grandchildren. Along with a very active church involvement, Barry enjoys canoe camping, sailing, reading, and woodworking projects.

Jason Mattson - Scheduler

Jason is our scheduler. He has previous experience as a drafter for a local lumber company. Along with scheduling, he preforms many other related tasks to help Minks Custom Homes run smoothly, including applying for permits and ordering surveys. He married his wife, Angie, in October of 2005 and enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family.

Justin Osterbauer - Architectual Drafter and Project Cost Estimator

Justin designs homes and estimates job cost on each of our new homes. Justin previously worked in a lumber yard as a manager of the design and drafting department. Justin and his wife, Cathy have two daughters, Riley and Isabelle! Justin also enjoys hunting & fishing.

Monica Lux - Financial Officer/Accounting

Monica handles the company books, records, and managing the finances. Monica has been in accounting since 1990. She and her husband, Dale, have adopted two children from Colombia. Monica enjoys unwinding with her family at their cabin up north.

Rachel Minks - Model Selection Coordinator

Rachel helps to decorate the parade models, and working on customer feedback surveys. Rachel is Ben's wife and enjoys combining staying home with their two young boys and working with the creative aspects of Minks Custom Homes. Rachel also enjoys being involves in women's ministry at their church as well as scrapbooking and reading.

Stephanie Struthers - Planning and Site Development Manager

In May of 2006, Stephanie graduated from St Cloud State University with a Bachelors Degree in Real Estate. She is Ben's assistant, handles the Minks' developments, landscapes the models, maintains the website, as well as many other tasks. She loves to spend time with her family & friends and her hobbies include racing, hunting, fishing and horseback riding.
